we're getting ready for july 4th over here, and i am happy to announce that matty and i both have the day off! how exciting. my mom has told me over and over again that i was supposed to be born on july 4th. her and my dad went for a date in NYC that night, and giggled because i was supposed to be arriving momentarily. she said she can remembered vividly driving home with fireworks filling the sky, wondering how in the world i still stayed in her belly with all that loud noise! sure enough, i didn't arrive until a week and a half later :)
i always still consider july 4th ALMOST my birthday, since it was supposed to be my birthday at some point in time. but my REAL birthday is coming up next week. the big 2-6. time is flyyyying by. so i am gonna enjoy wearing hearts on my shorts until i am too old (which will probably be never, because i love dressing like a kiddie :) )
