i'm cozy in bed & i can still hear the fireworks crackling outside my window :) sometimes i don't mind having to wake up at 5AM for work, because it pushes me to have full days and full nights of sleep!
this july 4th has been everything july 4th should be! we BBQed with all our friends, had an all-american meal at a diner, watched fireworks on south beach and then walked home in the rain and got sopping wet. i was shivering cold and my clothes were weighed down by the rain, but once i got past the inconvenience i sort of loved the entire mile walk, hand-in-hand with matt, with just the sound of raindrops and fireworks. i ♥ summertime nights. i ♥ life. :)
