it's officially summer in florida when it starts to rain every afternoon. yuck! but i guess it is good for pictures, because the lighting looks like this-- perfectly grey, so even light floral shorts show up in the photos :) plus, i get a little bit of joy out of grey days. what can i say, i'm a little emo.
i wore this for a walk around our neighborhood. we did get rained on, if you were wondering. i snagged these vintage shorts this week, and am adding them to my collection. i hemmed them to my perfect length too, which is the best part about altering clothes. oh, and have i mentioned i'm a mint addict?
i'm off to work bright and early tomorrow (as usual).. i am looking forward to some upcoming mini-vacations. it's been a tough month. plus, we had to put my parents doggie zelmo to sleep today. r.i.p. zelmo. he's been my pet since the 4th grade :( but you know what they say? for every down, there's an up.
