it's friday night and i'm in bed at 9:30. what else is new :) i have to be up for work at 5am, but i love my job so i can't complain too much.

here's some more savannah photos! i decided to do an "all-vintage" day for a day we went antiquing. there's so many cute stores right by river street. i ended up finding a cute summer hat that i can't wait to wear! i rarely ever wear black, but this dress just did it for me. i adore the high neckline paired with the sleeveless cut. perfect! ok have a great weekend! xo

maxi skirts on river street.

river street is everything good in one place. perfect lighting, endless candy stores, coffee shops AND brick. lots of brick! i know for savannah residents it's probably touristy, like the lincoln road of south beach, but sometimes i LIKE to be a tourist.

matt and i wandered around til' dark on day 1 of our roadtrip. i wore a floaty maxi skirt and felt elegant. sometimes it's fun to feel like the belle of the ball, and on this day i did :) more trip photos soon... !!!

here i am! home from our roadtrip after 8 and some hours on the road today! but it was SO worth it to be on the wide open road, without any plans and any specific destinations. i love traveling. i'll share some of our stops this week :)

i wore this getup on the way to visit my best friend lacey in jacksonville. i knew we were going to be going out when we got there at night, so it was comfortable and i didn't have to change to go out! about 8 million people told me i look/dress like taylor swift, which is my new norm. and i saw a picture of her at the beach in a magazine today, and i have to say... it is true. even though i don't mean to :) okay i am off to sleeeeep! night!

sometimes you just have to try something new, and for me it was white jeans. i keep seeing them everywhere, and while i am not one to "jump on the bandwagon" of new trends, i wanted to get my feet wet :) i'm still a little iffy on them, but i think styled right i can make them feel me! plus, what gal in florida doesn't own or wear white denim!?

southwestern casual.

hello hello! here's a very casual, very real post from a really tired version of myself :) it's been one of those work weeks that makes me a grumpy human being, but sometimes overworking is a whole new fun, too. i wore this to work today, we went in at 6AM to get ready for rollout tomorrow morning! 

i snagged this chambray shirt on sale this week and i'm not going to lie, i wore it maybe three times already. for some reason, southwestern/ bohemian style has been catching my attention this spring. or maybe these boots just inspired me. i am kind of in love with them. they remind me of this painting my aunt elisa worked on for an entire summer when i was younger and living with her. they also remind me of her decorating style. maybe i just miss her (i miss you auntie e!) okay... have a great monday! i love you guys.
