life goes easy on me.

hey there! back to reality :) swim week was fun while it lasted, but honestly sometimes the "normalcy" of my life is perfect for me. the simplicity of my non-glamorous life makes me smile. it makes me giggle when i spill coffee beans all over the floor at 7:30 a.m. (like a spaz!) and i have to clean it all up (but always miss some). it makes me happy to sit on my bathroom rug and paint my own toenails but always mess up a little bit. and most of all, i like to not go out and instead watch breaking bad with matt, downloaded on his computer because our tv is from the 1990's. i guess i mean... i sometimes feel happier with less. maybe i am just an oddball. 

my sunnies are handcrafted by a company i have admired for months, shwood. they are light, they smell of fresh wood AND matt and i can share them. i love unique companies that create items that feel special. life is special, so we should fill it with special things and people that we cherish ❤

bubblegum POP. (miami swim week-- day 3)

hello there! please excuse my flush pink face that matches my pink outfit :) dany's boyfriend took these at a Tory Burch preview event, and it was SO hot outside! it was a lovely event with all my favorite ladies.. AND they had mini slider burgers! my new favorite! I included my favorite from the collection, those adorable black cat eye sunnies!

for the latter part of the night i attended the mara hoffman fashion show, which just blew me out of the water. the collection isn't necessarily my style, but i thought it was styled beautifully, with whimsical teased hair, beat up cowboy boots and gorgeous flowy fabrics. i hope you like the photos! i am sort of excited to get back to normal posting :)

vintage miami brights. (miami swim week-- day 3)

i really gave myself a pat on the back for being brave enough to wear bright macaroni and cheese orange trousers to swim week :) my friend michael helped me style this look, and i absolutely adored it. PLUS it was 100 % vintage. my favorite.

i attended bloggers night out with tons of lovely ladies, and then headed to some incredible shows. I absolutely adored all of the swimsuits designed by Nicolita. The show began with the adorable sailor gal and her man walking down the runway, followed by dozens of cute pin-up girl inspired looks. all of the models sported curled back bangs and exaggerated eyelashes. my heart melted. ❤
