so after watching the cheesy but 'with a point' movie midnight in paris, my dad and i got to chatting about the fantasy of living during a different era. it really has me thinkin' why i love the 60's so much that i emulate the era with my clothing tastes, music choices & of course the way i decorate. i decided that it isn't necessary the era in itself, but just the idea of a peachy universe or world where everything is cheery. in my mind, that place is within the time period of the 60's. it is a little place to go away to whenever things aint so hot or even when they are, i can still walk into a diner in my mind and slurp on a chocolate milkshake. do you have a little place in your mind that you go to?
