i wore this to celebrate fathers day & my dads birthday which incidentally are usually the same day each year :) my dad and i share a mutual love for all things sweet, so for a celebratory dinner my parents, matt and i went and ate raspberry wings at chez porky's [south floridians, do yourself a favor and go!] followed by krispy kreme donuts. growing up my dad and i had a "tradition" where we would drive to krispy kreme 15 minutes away so i could practice driving, and we would listen to Beatles tunes the whole way. there is some logic to how i am who i am i guess... i was taught to believe that sweets & 60's tunes were things to be cherished in life, and cherish i will!
of course the next morning we tried to eat a light brunch (but there were leftover donuts not pictured hehehe). it is really reeeeeally hot here, so this outfit was just perfect. easy and breezy. and nothing beats scalloped shorts, except maybe peter pan collars!
