oh hello there :) we took these before heading to south beach for an evening run. i wore the outfit (quite honestly) to hang around my house. i know this is wacky, but i just HAVE to get dressed or the day feels wasted. so even if i am just sewing or reading, i am usually somewhat dressed up. ask who is kooky in the room and i will be the first to raise my hand!
this morning i woke up at 4:30 a.m. to catch my flight to NYC. not sleeping is not fun. but i've got some coffee in me and i am off to have the best day ever! follow along on instagram (steffyspandcs) and expect a picture overload soon! xo!

i've had lots of requests to share photos of my new home, and i finally got around to taking some last week! it is not big or extravagant, but we have beautiful lighting, high ceilings and it is filled with all of my favorite colorful things. it is the perfect place to read, sew and dream many days away.

oh hello :) it is true, i have been rockin' around the clock! since i am addicted to being constantly busy i've been helping the wardrobe department out on a commercial shoot the past few days. it is so fast paced and great, i love love love it. what could be better than clothes, steamers, actors, food, sun, fun ??? nothing! i'm tired, but it's a good tired where you throw your feet up at the end of the day and sleep better than ever.
i am off to NYC in a day and can't WAIT. it's going to be my longest vacation in a while and i am ready to be a free spirited fun person. i've been saving up lots of pretty clothes to wear, which gets me really excited! get ready for city & marthas vineyard adventures!

i found this gorgeous lace detailed bustier this week and instantly decided that every female needs one as a summer staple. i have worn it every day since then... paired with high waisted shorts, high waisted skirts, maxi skirts.. everything! it shows a bit more skin than i am used to, but nonetheless i feel like it is classy and classic. plus it is SO hot outside!
we discovered this GEM of a place in our neighborhood called S & S diner. it has been around since 1938 and you can just feel the history inside. it feels right out of a movie. matt and i declared it our new saturday tradition to walk over and grab coffee and breakfast. it reminds me of this place i used to go to in orlando all the time called chubby's. my obsession with breakfast diners and breakfast foods is comparable to ron swanson's obsession in parks and recreation. if i ever have an office, i WILL place a giant photograph of eggs and coffee on my wall, similar to his :) k, happy monday!
