we're now in the thick of it... of fall, i mean! with halloween passed, i'd say it is now time to get into the thanksgiving spirit! to me, this means OBVIOUSLY being thankful, and then also eating turkey, cute pilgrim salt and pepper shakers and my moms DELICIOUS sweet potato pie! to celebrate the season, we went to a farm in the part of miami that hardly anyone but the residents drive out to... homestead. it's the only part of miami that i think is pretty and natural [probably because it is in the middle of nowhere]. i got to see cute baby pigs and pick out a lovely pumpkin! of course i wore polka dots for the occasion :)
