merry-ow.

being surrounded by the holidays in the mall every day makes me want to put on holiday colors! it may be a bit early, but there's only one month a year to enjoy the "holidays" so i've been wearing lots of greens, reds, plaids and of course listening to holiday tunes!

the only way a kitty says meowwwww for the holidays is "merry-ow" hehehe. i've been splitting my time between moving and work. my ocd side hates feeling like my home isn't in some sort of order, so i promised myself tonight (my first night in the new place) it would be somewhat normal! can't wait to share lots of south beach with all of you!

baa baa black sheep.

it's monday, and this is my cozy weekend outfit that i wore ALL weekend. i've been living in this sweater, and all i want to wear for this holiday season are festive ties! this particular tie has little sheep all over it, and one of the sheep is black. it's too cute to be real.

we are moving in 2 days and the house is all packed up! today is our holiday rollout at work, so don't be surprised if adorable sweaters start popping up on here :) i am trying to get my holiday store listing up by the weekend, sorry for the delay! i just need to get settled and get my life sorted out first! i hope you all have a lovely monday!

p.s. yes, we are weird and took these in a cemetery. but it is the PRETTIEST cemetery by our house, and it is so peaceful. minus the crazy guy who was flicking off gravestones LOL

a cabin in the woods.

when the weather get's chilly, the best place to visit is my friends cabin upcoast. it's a bit dilapidated and  beautifully rustic. the air is crisp, the grass is high and it is in the middle of nowhere. i have dreamt about these fall/winter days all year and they are finally back!

i am having one of those weeks where i miss too many people. do you ever have those? i think a NYC trip is overdue (even though i was sort of just there). and i also think miami is far too spread out. maybe i will just have to invent a magical machine to transport me to everyone through thin air. or i need a jeannie! or i just need sleep. sometimes when im too tired to function i get bummed. CANT WAIT TO SLEEP IN TOMORROW! have a good weekend!

once upon a time.

hey there, it's me at 6:30 p.m. on tuesday night typing this after a 2 mile run. it has been getting dark so early and i don't like it one bit! i can't even pretend that i am not tired as ever. i took this week off from my store to adjust to my new hours and to figure out how exactly my life is going to go from now on.

snapped these in the gables a few days back! it's funny because we JUST got a sweater like this one in at j.crew. i guess kitschy hearts are making a comeback?! :) i'm their number one fan, and someone should probably ban me from getting any more clothes with hearts on them. or at least tell me it's okay to be obsessed. ok, i'm off to get some turkey lunch meat and cook dinner. how domestic and adult of me. have a great wednesday!

merlot hearts.

matt and i walked to dinner to meet his parents right at sunset on friday. the weather was perfect 70's, and the light was beautiful. i love love this time of the year. everything just feels better when it's cooler outside! plus, i am absolutely in love with these high waist trousers, and the color is my current favorite.  

on saturday night i said goodbye to working at the lincoln road j.crew. it was sad to walk out of those doors for the last time and hug my co-workers (and some my great friends) goodbye. here's to new great friends, new great co-workers and to new knowledge and new beginnings! i hope you all have a fantastic monday!
