free days, cabin days.

oh sweet freedom. i really have a love hate relationship with the summer months. on one hand, i have less hours at work which grants me more time to be the most free me i can be. on the other hand, i have less hours at work. never a great thing, right? BUT ... i am a "do-er" so the first thing i did was travel & thrift & re-think my life strategy. i am excited to explore more creative side projects, and of course to share away! i hope you're ready for tons of vintage and tons of pictures! :)

a suspenders story. ♥

a day spent in suspenders is a day well spent. a day spent in suspenders with your girlfriends at a fun event is a day WELLLLL spent! today we stopped by the Garnie Olia nation tour event (hosted by my friend Ginger) to get our hair all beautified, and then we played with the cutest monkey named oliver. he had scary teeth, but the cutest little face!

i thrifted this cute cropped turtle neck this week, and i love it for the summer months! plus.. we all know my mustard yellow obsession. i am just warning you, it isn't going away any time soon! i've been adding suspenders to more simple outfits to add a little quirkiness! i hope you all have a HAPPY friday! make sure to stop by Macy's in the Aventura mall tomorrow at 2PM to come see me :) xo

lemon zest.

you caught me! my hair is blonde now :) these were a bit old, since matt went away to mexico for a few weeks. i gotta tell ya, you really don't realize how much your life partner is your best friend until you can't pick up a phone and call em'. he is back safe and sound now. i'm a happy gal, and so is this blog! he takes all the best photos for me + you. we're so lucky (the blog and i both, lol! )

i have been getting all the wear i can out of my boots before it gets too hot for them. it almost already is. i spent this whole week working on getting the new product at work out on the floor. the next few weeks i have lots of days off so i am going to go back to adding vintage to my store! it has been seriously neglected these days. i moved some furniture around my house to try to find a better spot for product photos. anyway, there is my life. LOL. i hope yours is good too, or if not good at least not bad! have a great wednesday!

the hills are alive.

i am not sure if anyone noticed, but i am blonde again! i also got my first sunburn of the season. have any of you yet??? at this time last year i was working so hard on my store (and never giving myself a day off) so i never really got a "summer tan." this will be changing this year! i am actually going to the beach today on my day off!

i love this outfit because it feels different from the rest. i am so attached to certain colors and certain styles of clothing that sometimes it's nice to step outside of that comfort zone. i like the longer length of the skirt, and the color is dreamy! have a happy wednesday. 2 days til the weekend ;) MEOW!
