beautiful boston, massachusetts.

here we are, in pretty, historical, verrrry cold boston! day one was fantastic, the sun was shining, and we walked most of the city. we visited chinatown, walked on newbury street and ate cupcakes at sweet, wandered around back bay, etc. the city is one of the most scenic places i've ever been too, and the trains make it so convenient to see it all! we are just trying to stay warm! i have tons of pictures to share,   i hope you enjoy these and are having a beautiful new years eve day! every other sunday at the antique fair ❤

every other sunday on lincoln road, there is an amazing antique fair with an endless amount of booths lining the streets. many of them are overpriced, but that doesn't mean a gal can't browse and dream of owning multiple closets filled with furs, vintage dresses and polka dotted silk scarves. luckily there's old cameras too, so matt came along for the walk (and claude too!)

it's been in the 60's and 70's here all weekend, so i've been enjoying wearing tights, scarves and sweaters! i adore wearing plaid around the holidays, but wanted another option other than holiday colored plaid. i love opting for mustard and cobalt blue plaid instead! the kitty blouse is one of the quirkiest tops i own :) it's so lovely to be able to complete an outfit with a scarf, what a nice treat for me! i hope you all have a beautiful holiday tonight and tomorrow. ❤

when i am shopping, there's two categories of things i purchase-- the things that i NEED and the things that i HAVE to have. this sweater falls into the second category. i unpacked it from the box the day we got it into the store, and eyed it for a week before i caved! i love that it is a fairisle with a little bit of extra flair, plus it has cats and birds on it! c'mon! i've been wearing it non-stop, along with these mustard pants that i snagged on super sale. this is a typical cozy work outfit :) 

can you believe christmas is in 4 days? i definitely can. i have been working so so hard, but i know i will miss the fast pace when i am relaxing in boston on my week vacation hehehe. stress is good. i actually really love to feel stressed. i hope you all have non-stressful weekends and enjoy your holiday bliss!

minty on española way.

one of the best parts of where i live is that my neighborhood is a dream for walking around. i live so close to espanola way, and it is so beautifully decorated for the holidays. miami beach is sort of like nyc in the respect that you can walk everywhere and almost always find something to do, but you get to wear less layers and avoid numb fingers and toes. i've gotta say, i'm smitten! 

due to the lack of winter, i am still somewhat stuck on the color mint. i always love pastels, but mint is my all time favorite! also, i found these boots in the back of my closet. remember when i used to where them in every single post? hehehe.

still dreaming, still scheming.

it's a bright monday over here, because i am off today :) i spent the weekend walking around my neighborhood with matt and claude and some of our neighbors/ best friends, and now i am feeling refreshed and ready to thrift, sew and bring you more vintage! it's hard to say why, but finding and wearing treasures seems to be a part of my genetic makeup. i just can't quit the pull to thrift stores on my days off. i have less time to find amazing pieces now, and always feel like i am cheating when i wear all new clothing. i'm sure other thrifters feel the same.

to make up for all the "new" clothes i've been wearing, i decided to wear an outfit of head-to-toe vintage! i just adore the collar on this dress, and i die every time when i find a vintage coach bag. i think they're such staple items! i hope you all have a lovely monday. i'll probably be ranting on instagram (steffyspandcs) about my finds of the day!

plaid, please.

the sun usually doesn't let me take pictures of what i wear to work since it's always dark when i get home, but here's what i wore yesterday! when i am at work i usually wear j.crew or try to look "j.crew" but mixed with my own personal vintage-y style. i absolutely adore plaid right now (but who doesn't with christmas right around the corner). i love playfully mixing plaids, but always try to tie it together with solid colors in the mixture! 

i am thrilled that it is friday, and i actually get to enjoy a three day weekend! i'm going to use my free time to find gifts, thrift and of course work on my store!
