meow meow meow, i am in love with kitties. you can only imagine my excitement when my good friend (a super sweetheart, btw!) shareen who runs the vintage shop vintage mavens told me it could be mine! lets just say i showed my dad... and he even got excited. i mean, the kitties have BOW TIES. i have been trying to convince matt that we should own a cat, but for now it is a no-go. if i did own one, i would probably buy it every item from this etsy, CAT atelier, that i click to if i am ever in a bad mood. for real, the cats have peter pan collars and bow ties lol.

these were taken in a sentimental spot. the house i grew up in (that my parents moved out of a few years back) is right down the street, so i spent a lot of time writing in my journal in this mini intracoastal park. go ahead, laugh at me... i was an art school, journal writing dweeb (and i still am!)

hello friends!

it was a brilliant weekend here in steffy land! i spent most of it in a weird silly/ giddy state, goofing off with my two favorite guys-- my dad and my matt! we saw wanderlust, ate yummy mexi salads at el jefe luchador, and on sunday matty even thrifted with me (and i think he enjoyed it!).

i wore this to the eye doctor/ movies on saturday and it grabs the win for my #1 favorite outfit in a while. i just love LOVE this dress! i'm off to work :) so many dresses as cute as kittens coming to my store soon!

gooood afternoon!

thank you all so much for your sweet comments yesterday, i went to bed with a grin.. and woke up with one too for that matter! today i will be finishing up "project cake pops." this weeks batch will be perfect hopefully.

do you ever listen to a song and have it just bring you back in time. i was running to pandora this morning and that suuper overplayed song by jay-z came on and it brought me back to 2010 when i worked at lucky strike on 12ave and they would play it over and over. i lived in brooklyn here in this tiny room. and YIKES this was my street. and my day job was at this wacky upscale kickboxing gym on madison ave that was "super exclusive" in a basement. that is why i love music. 1 song, and a plethora of memories!

okay, enough rambles! i'm wearing lavender here because it is my latest obsession. i wore this to school on tuesday and i got a funny look at starbucks. i didn't mind. have a good day!

✿ modcloth blogger of the moment. ✿

i almost smiled my face off when Modcloth picked me as blogger of the moment. my heart felt really warm, as i found many of my most favorite blogs by perusing the interviews of past bloggers of the moment. of course my dress is extra polka-dotted and extra pink with a sweet collar! it feels like it sums me up perfectly :)

i styled the "steffys pros and cons dress" with pops of hunter green and vibrant red, and for some reason i just knew it needed to be worn with some extra-high mary janes! i felt as pretty as a picture in it. i just had to frolick at sunset!
