woah, heart! it's quite bright ;) i've been wearing this knit top non-stop, mainly with shades of brown. i love red and brown together!

i hope you all had a fabulous weekend. mine was warm and special. went to my friends' potluck dinner that they host each week & laura of blorange dice was in miami for work and came! we had such a perfect night chatting and listening to my friends play live music ;) the rest of the weekend i was up the coast of florida in my friends' cabin. so many "life is beautiful moments.." i guess bonfires & s'mores & canoeing & your favorite friends around do that to ya!

oh how happy i am that it is wednesday! i LOVE wednesdays because i shop for my store today. it is the one day of the week that i live in a dream world... wake up, sip coffee, ignore all homework, shop & sew and finish the day by cooking a home cooked meal for my guy when he gets off work!

isn't life under the sun just a crazy crazy crazy dream?

why hello there. i'm just listening to dirty projectors, stillness is the move over and over again. it's such a good song.. or the whole cd is good, actually. it reminds me of living in nyc because i would always dance to it on the subway. i've been really missin' nyc, i can't wait to move back one day.

these were taken yesterday when we went to the farmers market. matt bought a lot of fruit and veggies and of course i SURPRISINGLY found cute cupcakes. last one for a while! matt said, " if you eat them every day then they aren't a treat." :) he is right.

i felt like dressing pretty casual and i am in love with black skinnies this season. i never really wear much black, but black pants are the perfect blank canvas to wear a fun blouse and some glittery shoes! k have a superb monday! look for new goodies in my store later :)

big hair, bigger dreams!

good mornin'! i am very happy today because last night we had a cute little potluck dinner at our house with all of our closest friends and it was heart warming :) i love seeing good faces on "week nights." it feels even more special than seeing them on weekends!

i've been spending most of my days wearing a beehive since i stumbled upon this post on elsie's blog. it sorta changed my life :) making a gigantic beehive is as simple as adding a loofah under your hair. who would have thought! and if you were wondering, yes, i have a loofah on my head!

sometimes adding the beehive makes me feel overdressed(plus i get weird looks), so i went for my "typical comfy january" look with my new favorite sweater dress! i just love the tribal inspired red and tan color combination. these pictures just look like what a florida winter feels like. never really that cold, but chilly enough to play dress up in winter clothes :)
