hey guys!

so us floridians have been lucky enough to be faced with a "cold front" for the next few days! boy do i love a great brisk walk at night! i am REALLY prepared with a large batch of amazing sweaters... including this one, my favorite of em all!

it has been a really tiring week, with finals coming up and all, but i'm just taking it day-by-day and trying not to take it too seriously [even though i guess it is serious].

all my bags are packed, i'm ready to go.

this weekend i got a taste of the spontaneity in my life that i once lived for. unplanned nights out, friends from every edge of the world in one room, living from one day to the next without a care in the world. it is so easy to get caught up in the routine of having so many "things" to do ALL THE TIME... and we lose sight of being caught up in the moment. really living. i think the reason i love the holiday season most is because it gives us all the opportunity to disconnect from the trivial things and reconnect with all of the people who mean the most to us. i, for one, know i am counting down the days until christmas so we can all be together again!

... one month until my trip to NYC. and less until i can kiss this semester goodbye!

do you have any fun holiday plans? anyone in NY want to grab a cappuccino with a blonde tourist who goes by steffy?

my day of thanks :)

yesterday began with a morning bikeride and run with matty. most of the day we spent relaxing and watching breaking bad :) we left the cooking up to our families!

after an attempt to split our dinner time between our two families who live an hour apart we realized we were going to miss one full dinner. we were on the highway in transit as both our families sat down to eat, but we learned a valuable lesson for next year--- pick ONE family and one dinner! :) "dinner missing" aside, it was a lovely day filled with all of the people i love most. i hope your day was FABULOUS!

i am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose!

if you follow me on instagram [steffysprosandcons] you already know about these pants. ;) sometimes on slow saturday nights at work i try on my favorite things... bad idea! once i put these on, it was a done deal. don't judge, but i may have worn them lots of days since then!

SOOO, thanksgiving is tomorrow. it is one of my favorite holidays ever because it gives us a chance to reflect on all of the things that we have. it's hard not to smile on thanksgiving! i hope you have a wonderful day, and i will try to post with some pictures of my TWO thanksgiving dinners.. if i can still move that is! [my parents dinner AND matt's parents dinner!]
